Celebrate the Christmas season with the voices and instruments of Concordia University Irvine. Concordia's annual Christmas Concert tradition returns to the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. Concordia’s critically-acclaimed choirs, handbells and orchestra share glad tidings of great joy--Christ was born to save! This year's theme, "Repeat the Sounding Joy!" showcases more than 200 performers from eight vocal and instrumental performing ensembles under the masterful direction of Dr. Michael Busch and Dr. Jeff Held. Enjoy festive carols and Christmas favorites, old and new. A highlight of the holiday season, Concordia's Christmas Concerts sell out every year, so get your tickets today!
Audience Advisory: All ticket holders must wear a mask AND provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of performance. Check scfta.org for current requirements at the time of the performance.
Continue the celebration. A new made-for-TV special episode of “A Concordia Christmas” will be filmed for PBS in the Borland-Manske Center, airing during the week of Christmas. More details coming soon!
